Fiber Inspection Scope

The CL-200 fiber inspection scope provides 200X magnification for inspection of quality and polishing of fiber optic connectors. The fiber microscope utilizes a white LED for coaxial illumination. Light is introduced into the optical path (axis) so that it comes out of the tip of the objective and strikes the sample perpendicular to the fiber end-face. It produces excellent detail of scratches and contamination.The fiber scope is reccomended for critical examination of polish quality of fiber optic connectors. The inspection scope comes with an adapter for FC, ST and SC terminated fibers and an additional adapter for SMA is available (part # CL-200-SMA). The fiber scope can be used with our fiber termination components and instruments

SMA Height Gage

The 10125HG SMA height gauge is ideal for accurately measuring the height of a polished fiber optic SMA connector. SMA-to-SMA couplers designed to be a non-contact interface, and since the insertion loss (IL) of an SMA-SMA junction is dependent on the distanced between the two SMA connector end faces, the height of the polished SMA connector is important. Individually calibrated gauge pins are included with each 10125HG gauge to ensure proper height measurements.

Head Worn Magnifier

This head-worn inspection magnifier is ESD compliant and cleanroom compatible. It is ideal for inspecting components when high magnification is not required, and may be worn with or without eyeglasses. The magnifying lenses can be swung out of the way or locked into position.
